I don't think I'd have been allowed to strike to support the private sector but I would definitely have supported their right to do so.

I'm not sure how one day of action has made problems worse. In fact I'd reckon Norwich shops had a busier wednesday than they've had for a long time.

What are people striking for? Probably all those things you've said.

And I have no problem with the 70's. A much maligned decade when you could buy icebreaker chocolate bars and listen to punk.
