Do you honestly think the Gunn era had serious consequences ?

It could haveof, but I think you could also say McNally enabled us to dodge a bullet.

You could pin relegation on him but that would be unfair. He simply failed to do any better than Roeder. Other managers might have come in and had the same problem and we'd have been more forgiving.

As for this season, win on Saturday and we will be top of the league. I'd say the hit we took on Gunny's period in charge this season won't be 100% negated until we have secured promotion, but if we'd been in the same position at this stage WITH Gunn, we'd have been satisfied I think.
