I don't blame Gunn for relegation exactly

But do hold him partly responsible - not least because he's been Head of Player Recruitment for years beforehand. Had he held his hands up in May and admitted he was in over his head, I probably wouldn't blame him at all - but he didn't.

And thank heavens for McNally - but there was nothing inevitable about us finally bringing professional people in. The mess he, Bowkett, Lambert, Culverhouse and Crook are getting us out of was partly Gunny's fault. If he acknowledged this, then fair enough - but he doesn't. If you become manager, you're responsible for results: Gunn acts like he was only responsible for wins, and Roeder's players were responsible for defeats. That's ridiculous.
