I guess we just fundamentally disagree about what the board are currently doing.
You suggest that it's basically business as usual there. I think that's wrong. It's desperation there, in my opinion.
Fundamentally, I think you believe that there are benefactors out there who would rescue the club - it's just a question of opening the door to them.
Whereas I think that's highly unlikely. And I think it's obvious that the current majority shareholders would run for the hills if they could.
As for operational decisions like choice of managers - well, people will disagree there. It's certainly not the case they they've made the same mistake time and again - Grant was a very different kind of catastrophic decision to Roeder, and Gunn is another one again.
And to come back to the point - I think that hoping that the fans will starve the club of cash, to somehow 'bring about something better', is at best highly risky. I think it'll only really work by putting us into admininstation, but given where we are now, it's not obvious we'd ever recover.
That really would be cutting off our own noses time.
