Roeder's squad

So, in the aftermath of the victory on Sunday I wondered what people reckon to the (permanent) squad that Roeder is asembling:

Looking at the core of the team that we have (marshall, semi, doc, stefanovic, drury, croft, pattison, hools, bell, russell, fozzy, cort) I actually think that Roeder is doing a great job on zero budget.

When the figures came out about the percentage of wages that are going on loan deals I was quite impressed - loan signings make up a far greater proportion of the team than they are costing in wages and we'd never be able to afford the likes of Lita, Kennedy, Sibierski & Berty in the usual run of things.

There has been definate progress under Roeder in very difficult circumstances.

It'd be interesting to see what Roeder could do with a (small) bit of cash - I reckon we'd still be recuiting along the same lines, but maybe with some of the successful loans becoming permanent deals.

It's also interesting seeing Magilton getting the backing of the boss after calls from the ipswich fans for him to resign. He's not as inept as Grant, but there are similarities in his transfer dealings...
