There are two teams on the pitch and... guess what: there is a direct correlation between the performance of both teams, given that they are, of course, playing each other.

Hence Roeder is saying that we were brilliant and because of our 'brilliance' Sheff Wed were poor. Likewise, our 'brilliance' was in some way allowed to flourish because Sheff Wed weren't at the races. They couldn't touch us, they were second best.

You know this, I know this - but any opportunity to play the c**t is too good an opportunity for you to miss, isn't it?
