I don't think anyone rational is saying it is

but at the end of the day the league table doesn't lie. And history doesn't judge Roeder very well. Because of that history he will naturally have things to prove to people as to whether he can ever truly build a team. He's proved he can rescue other people's teams.

He has yet to prove he can succeed as a manager with his own team.

We're very close to the drop zone and, given the quality we have (as you yourself admit), we should be doing better.
