morecambe and wise for example..... scenes where they are both in pyjama's in bed together, reading news papers/books and commenting on something - - no one took a blind bit of notice two blokes in bed together......

bizarre!

but then things were different then - where sexually people were more innocent (so would put 2 blokes in bed talking down as anything remotely sexual) but racisit comedies about cloloured people moving in next door were ok.......
