It annoys me how the press like to look down at message boards...

as if somehow their opinions are more relevant than that of the ordinary fan, who actually support the clubs they write about.

There might be a number of people, myself included, who exagerate things but football is about passion.

The truth is these journalists are about as well informed as we are. The only inside information their 'friendships' produce is what the clubs want to release.

The biggest advantage a message board has over the likes of Archant and MFW is that we aren't gagged by having to protect a relationship with the club.
