The problem is not the loan system

after all, no-one is forcing us to use it. You are saying that having players that aren't ours is bad for the club and we would be better off with just our own players. So why don't we do that?
The reason we don't is that we want better players and they are at Prem clubs because they have all the money. That would be the case even without the loan system. The only way to build a decent team these days is by being in the Prem, and to do that you need to to get promoted (hence the need to get better players on loan).

The absence of the loan system would make the development of your own young players through the youth system more important (since you couldn't loan other players youngsters). Academy rules mean that our geographical location cripples our youth program so we would actually be WORSE off compared to our rivals in those circumstances.
