Following on from 'what type of card'
Hi,
Following on from what type of graphics card you need, If you really are a bit of a technophobe, the best best is to take the base to a local PC shop. Not PC World etc but one of those tiny backstreet places that's been run by one bloke for the last 10 years. You know the sort of thing, I'm sure they'll pop the box open and recommend a cheap OEM card that will fill the specification. They would also be able to recommend the memory. They would charge a bit to fit the kit but if you take the box in just to see what you need they probably won't charge you.
If you're in Norwich, someone like would do it I'm sure:
