If we offer £250K then we can talk to him. If he's signed a contract QPR can't hi-jack the deal (or at least if they do we will have legal recourse).

The only way it would be a problem would be if (i) there is any truth in the latest article and (ii) he hasn't actually signed for us yet.

Guess it will all depend on how accurate the rumours are!
