not sure - heating and lighting a separate building for every single employee may end up using more energy than putting 'em all on a train to work and then only having to use one building.

Plus other enviro benefits - eg from large canteen vs eveyone cooking themselves lunch etc.

(And everyone turns into socially inadequate misfits.)
