At least they are trying new players
I am sure that there are better players in my team (Birkenhead) than Matthew Bell or Grant Elliott that played in the games in NZ. So at least there are trying a few different people out. The real problem is getting two innings out of this lot
I have also thought Ross Taylor to be a bit dense at times, he seems to lose concentration, especially in the 20-30 run area normally, seems to fotget what type of cricket he is playing, half an hour of good test match batting can be ruined by 5 mins of banzai 20/20 heave-hos
Jesse Ryder is a complete idiot..this man should be one of the best all rounders in the world at the moment, but is too all intents and purposes is your usual lazy kiwi. If he could just stay professional he would really help the Blackcaps out. How needs someone else competent up there with him.
