^^^ important point here though

while the bigger the better is generally what's required by most men in a TV a 50 inch screen in a 10 ft by 10 ft lounge is not just going to look stupid but the picture is also going to be s**t because you'll end up sitting far too near to the telly, rather then at the optimum distance for the screen size
