Yep, that's the risk, totally agree.

And Brum proved that a couple of good loans can make the difference and get you promoted.

There is something a little bit deeper going on, I think. In that playing Hucks a few times for the rest of this season wouldn't be about keeping *him* sweet - it would be about giving the fans what they want. Given what he's done for the club (and that he's a better player now than Gibbs).

But you may well tourn out to be right that the longer-term good of the club is better served by keeping Wenger happy than the fans right now.
In the end of course we'd all love to see us go up next year with a couple of Arsenal loanees starring. Hucks' absence over the next few months would be pretty quickly forgotten if that happened...
