Looking at this Jag I said "ooh, the oil's a bit bitty and black" and he said "oh, it's because it's a diesel, they all go like that about a hundred miles after you change the oil".

Even I know that's bollocks. Plus the suspension was noisy over bumps - and he said "oh yes, I hadn't noticed that before"....
