2 are injured for the foreseeable future
6 or 7 have barely played for the first team, and we don't really know if they're up to it
a few more (martin, jarvis etc) seem to have lost their way and don't seem to be filling roeder with much confidence
3 are only here on loan and evans might have to go back sooner ratehr than later
1 of them is 38 years old
1 of them is simon lappin

we're lucky most of them are fit, but it would only take a few knocks and we could be relying on the second string to win us games and i'd rather not be in that position. we're not clear of danger yet.

defender and striker are priorites i agree, but we could still use other decent players if they are available. halford would be ok - we have no experienced cover down the right at all
