What it reveals

is the lack of depth in the squad - which has come from our inability to bring outfield players through the academy, and the remarkable ability of Roeder's two predecessors to piss money away on w**kers.
None of this is Roeder's fault - although no doubt some of our "West Ham-style" supporters would like it to be.
I find it hard to fault the team selection either - the reason for resting Semi seems sound, and could we really have expected Dion to do 90 minutes on a heavy pitch last night, and then do it again on Saturday?
