Were you aware of Australia's problem with the Cane Toad, by the way?

They introduced the hardy little bastard in Queensland to negate some pest (I forget which) and it's wiping out everything in sight and marching across the country at an alarming rate. IIRC it's already hit the Kakadu NatPark which is thousands of miles away.

I sent the Oz Wildlife people a couple of suggestions:

1) find a way of brewing a beer from them
2) introduce a few breeding pairs of Mediterranean French folk.. They'd be cooking the poisonous little bleeders inside a month.

Strangely I've had no official reply.
