It's self-evident that the figures Doncaster spoke of in his webchat on the official site were certainly not made available. Over the last couple of months or so, Grant only had loan money to play with, but couldn't find the right man for various reasons. Only considerable help from Shandy could give any new manager a decent budget: otherwise, it's make do and mend I'm afraid.
