Ah, the rewriting of history

for virtually all of Etuhu's time if you'd asked the overwhelming majority of City fans if there were any problems with the Etuhu purchase they would have said they we paid way too much. If you had told them there was a £1.5m release clause they would just have laughed since he was clearly overpriced at £700k and no-one would ever pay it.

Now, with the wondrous miracle of hindsight those same fans are trying to claim the Board were stupid for including the clause and letting him go so cheaply.

If you want your post to be taken remotely seriously you will have to attach a link to a post of yours in which you point out that he was a steal at £700k and was clearly worth well over £1.5m (which presumably is what you thought, since you consider having a release clause at that amount to be stupid dealing)
