Speaking of smug c**ts, anyone here had a psychometric test before ? I had to

do a 700 question test a couple of weeks back, and yesterday had a 3 hour follow up meeting with the test company.

The chap explained the results and told me all about my character makeup which came out of the testing. Much of it was quite accurate, but a few parts were incorrect in my opinion (and I do think I'm quite aware of most of my own character traits, both good and bad).

Each time he asked me how I felt about that assessment and I disagreed, the answer was "ah, but it IS correct, but you have simply used other traits to compensate for it, so that you and other people don't see it.". After a while I started getting really sick of the smug bastard!

It's a great business, isn't it ? You can never be wrong!

The one which really narked me was that it showed that I am a team player, yet at the same time don't feel the particular need to be part of a group. He told me it was incompatible, to which I replied that to me it was quite logical - team (especially in a working environment) and group are not the same thing. His answer ? "Ah, but they are ! Believe me *all knowing toothy grin*. You have just compensated to simulate being a team player."

FFS!
