One thing I'm curious about

It seems everyone is praising the defence and midfield for their solidity. If that's so, how come Preston had so much possession and won 15 corners? Suggests to me that we gave the ball away a lot or, at the very least, all our attacks broke down quickly therefore ceding possession.

Note: I'm not trying to criticise, just understand.
