German football interests me
Absolutely massive crowds, hugely competeitive (Bayern finished fifth last season) and very low ticket prices. They're still producing players that outperform us on the international stage (whether we like it or not) and the only downside is that Bundesliga clubs are not as competitive in the Champions League as they once were. But who cares about that?
There was also a great article in When Saturday Comes a while back about supporter 'buddies' and the fact that several clubs have another they are effectively 'twinned' with.
They support each other, they wear each other's colours, they go to each other's games. It's a huge cultural belief and frankly, it's bonkers.
