not broadband but my parents do use Virgin for their telephone

unfortunately there's a fault on the line which they've reported (after being kept on hold for about half an hour what is a ridiculously expensive phone line, unless you phone from a Virgin line, but guess what, they can't do that while there's a fault on the line...)

anyway, Virgin have promised to send an engineer round in 3 weeks time
