Infant Sports Day, Rhyl style
OK, it was ten years ago, but one day I went to my Lyndsey's infant school sports extravaganza: and it wasn't the future of SPORT that I feared for.
75% of the mums sat on the ground in various circles and yattered at each other for the duration, not even looking up when their loved ones were competing and even shutting them up when said beloved offspring tried to tell them how they'd got on.
And of the men present? There weren't many - and half of those who were there were pissed, asleep, or both.
