I fear for the future of British sport I really do...

was prepared for a bit of nppcmbc non-competitive athletics at Nasie Jr's sports day. Fuck me it was worse than that!.

Throwing bean bags into rings, dribbling a football round cones, throwing a polystyrene type missile, bouncing a ball on a wooden bat, skipping, egg and spoon slalom, and.... AND.... aerobics FFS.

Still with a stiff upper lip, I can look my 7 year old in the eye and tell him, "Son we're British. We don't go out to win, it's all about the enjoyment of taking part.

And that's why it doesn't motivate our future stars to excel in sport. How sad.
