To suggest it's down to that one suspected trend is folly

I for one doubt it plays a great part in our current ability to pull such large crowds. I do though concede that marketing has been a huge success.

However, the fact remains - does anyone on here seriously think that we would currently be so well-supported had we not been promoted? And we have Worthy to thank for that. I'm not saying it didn't go tits up (as it obviously did) in his last couple of seasons, but it really pisses me off to hear people constantly rubbishing a man who did so much for this club.
