Your point was "Ooo look at pants, he's been to one game and now he fancies he can criticise other people"

It was stupid to get at him every time he voiced an opinion about players on the basis he "hadn't been to the games". Now that that target isn't available, it's "Let's criticise him for thinking that going to games makes him a world expert". Poor bloke can't do anything right.
