Mind you, they do have a point, don't they? It would be a bit of a bastard if the clubs coming down had got oodles of wodge. On the other hand, they would be quite likely to have spent all of it in a desperate attempt to stay up and would have a GINORMOUS wage bill (agents would be onto them immediately if they got extra money) so in fact they could be pretty wobbly financially on relegation and it wouldn't make any difference to our ability to compete with them.
