Yes it did get abused. I admit that of the 4 or 5 years I've had it, I

didn't pay the last season because of that credit card f**k-up (also emailed them asking them how to pay but they ignored me).

However, this is not something they have introduced because of people taking advantage!

ANY decent software company would have implemented correct security in the first place instead of "security by obscurity" which is very quickly found out.

It shouldn't have been possible to take advantage of it so easily.

It's their own incompetency.
