US bombing raids and assaults that killed the lion's share of Iraqis was "American military on ordinary Iraqi" rather than just Muslim on Muslim. Similarly ordinary, normal Iraqis don't go to the UK or the USA to blow themselves up yet they're still the mugs that get killed in wars. Some Iraqis may have supported Saddam but many did not, they were completely innocent yet still had their lives destroyed. It was in every way eye for an eye.
