I had to say it amused me:

that before the Arsenal-Blackburn game the panel were banging on about Bentley, saying "There's been lots of calls for Bentley to be included in the England squad", and I thought, "Yes, but only FROM David Bentley".

Every day I log on to skysports.com and there's ANOTHER article saying, "Bentley hopes for England chance" where Bentley says "I'm playing really well and I think I should be called up soon. I mean, I'm way better than Shaun Wright-Phillips, Aaron Lennon, Theo Walcott, Gabriel Agbonlahor and David Beckham, despite popular opinion and evidence being to the contrary. Pick me, go on! At least I'm not Tony Daley!"

If I demand to be called up for England often enough, will they start mentioning me?
