Hindsight is a wonderful thing...

but I'm certain cases would have been put forward to the Board by the footballing management for what areas needed to be strengthened, and what sort of player was available that fell within the budget. So the investment in Hughes hasn't worked out, and likewise for other certain midfielders. I'd hate to think the Board questioning and ultimately not sanctioning a signing like Dion Dublin. Look was he and Earnie have single handedly contributed to our side this season.
