It isn't what I said

what I said is quite clear. If you choose to misrepesent what I said because you want an argument there's not a lot I can do about it. There is a difference between questioning what the manager does, and controlling the football side.
And I'm not working on any assumptions: Doncaster has said quite specifically that the management of the budget was down to Worthington - the balance between wages, fees, loans etc. There's no reason to suppose that an ex-ffotballer has the skills to do that - and the events of a year ago show that Worthington didn't have those skills.
Why shouldn't the board veto signings?
