Yes. In my late teens I was a bit of a metalhead, regular in Festival House, etc, and

one day it just struck me that, while the conversation was constantly about how the "trendies" were sheep and unoriginal, we were the only ones who were all wearing the same and had about 3 million rules on what you just could not wear.
