We had something like that...
...though we weren't told the baby had died we were told that Mrs Angler was going through a miscarriage and there was nothing to be done. There was a fair bit of bleeding. Resultant baby is now seven!
Apparently you can get a fair bit of bleeding as the baby attaches round this kind of time (12-13 weeks). We didn't know that.
