Dead Babies

Just after we got married, we discovered my wife was pregnant. We were over the moon about it, and then last month she had a lot of bleeding so we rushed her to the hospital in an ambulance, where they told her she was losing the baby. We were devastated. We hardly spoke or did anything for two days. It was a bit like that feeling you got after the penalties at Cardiff, but constantly for days on end (and much worse).

We went back to the hospital after the weekend to have the vacuum cleaner treatment, and they did another scan, just to check, and they told us that the baby was fine!

So now we're into the 14th week and I'm going to be a daddy. Hopefully. And if nothing goes wrong. But i still don't mind the odd sick joke, as long it's funny. Those dead baby ones just didn't go far enough if you ask me.
