I think we have improved

Croft does solve one major problem we had. What will be interesting now is to see how Colin plays with a proper right winger in front of him.
Given that all managers are ex-footballers, and nearly all ex-footballers are borderline cretins then to get through the whole summer without even one hugely expensive and obvious f**k-up is cracking IMO.
BTW: if you are accusing me of having low expectations I plead guilty.
