I'm sorry but we haven't had a cracking summer

it hasn't been the unutterable catastrophe that the last one was. But we still have a threadbare squad, no two strikers that can play together, never mind cover, no cover for our left back, no decent cover for our CBs, and no cover for our one central midfielder who can pass (and who we all know will miss plenty of games).

And of the positives you mention - we know nothing about Hunter. But the fact that the FA employed him does not tell us much positive. And the youngsters may have contracts but they won't play.

It has still been much better than last summer though...
