Tricky - I do know the difference between the National Debt
and PSBR.
National Debt is the balance of debt owing at a specific moment of time.
PSBR is the amount borrowed by the state in a tax year.
Thank you, I do know the difference !
Now what was the national debt in 1997 when New Labour came to power in absolute terms, i.e ? bn
and what is it now in absolute terms ?
