... but The Slits' version of Heard It Through the Grapevine is pure class (as has been mentioned on here before).

I really like The Byrds' version of 'Mr. Tambourine Man', too, and the Dead Kennedys' version of 'I Fought the Law' is my favourite cover version by anyone, ever.
