couldn't be arsed to watch the whole thing so just took in the highlights which was a huge mistake as the sensory overload of the moronic goal music which makes it even more tinpot than it is.
ditto shotgunning chelsea dagger before the refs final whistle has even finished. it's almost pavlovian with the crowd clapping along like brain dead seals. it's on par with the ghastly rising organ crescendo at ice hockey.
then there's the forced on the ball city at the start, ultra f**king cringe.
why are we as a club so welded to sucking the very spontaneity out of every aspect of the football experience?
