Those born in the 60s 70s and 80s need to face facts
Our names have not just fallen but plummeted out of fashion.
I can remember my great uncle was called Arthur - I can remember thinking this was the crustiest most uncool name known to humanity.
What’s happened in the last 15 years is Arthurs, Stanleys, Fredericks and Georges are now the cool kids while the Marks, Lees, Simons, Davids, Andrews and Richards are the crusty mob.
Spare an extra thought for the once uber cool name Andy - shared with such undesirables such as former HRH and Burnham so toxic for child naming.
