I fully appreciate the frustrations. But we had 3 tests in June and have two in August -
that leaves one test at the beginning of September. There's only ever two test series per summer. There's also Women's tests to fit in to the schedule. The Hundred is basically three weeks during the summer holidays.
If we want to talk about "quality" cricket, yesterday in the men's game we saw
