Well there are 32 teams in each World Cup. Realistically about 12 of them have a real chance of winning it. That number reduces as the tournament goes on obviously, but the fact is "We will not do well" is such an easy prediction to make - the chances are for any supporters that their team will NOT win the World Cup. And if you're wrong you have the safety net that nobody cares because they are so happy...
