Scotland’s establishment is so f**king corrupt

It’s taken them five years to get to this point, which is ridiculous

Nicola was allowed to give a “no comment” interview but have it presented as “fully co-operating”

They allow the Lord Advocate to be simultaneously the government’s chief legal adviser and the head of the state prosecution service, which absolutely stinks both generally and in this particular instance. She is a deep SNP lifer and funnily enough was head of the service which decided Nicola wouldn’t be prosecuted.

She also briefed SNP ministers about the Murrell case … and amazingly that case was then delayed without explanation from February (before the Scottish election) to now (safely after the election)

It’s all so BENT. Imagine if this case had been about Cherie Blair stealing from Labour or Carrie Johnson stealing from the Conservatives. Do you think Tony or Boris would have got away with a no comment interview and a story like “we had separate bank accounts and I had no idea that all the lovely things appearing in our home had been paid for with stolen funds”???
