Imagine if they tried that and he lost the by-election

Imagine if they tried one of their traditional safe seats and the Greens nicked it because it’s a Muslim seat now, or even Reform because it’s a Brexit seat now

The only really safe Labour seats suddenly look like the metropolitan middle class liberal/progressive seats, so Islington type seats. Who’s going to be prepared to resign that sort of seat for Burnham?
