lampard is one of the players we had in the squad that most experts would consider "world class". Zidane was poor (and then suspended) in the group games for France. By your approach they should have dropped him - their manager did exactly the same thing as Sven but his star player came up with the goods. Sven's didn't. The reverse might have heppened - no-one could know. Is that Sven's fault or the player's?
